but Google never got rid of scout, there is a link to ‘similar pages’ off of every single search result, taking up very valuable screen real estate and user attention, despite the fact that the feature is really poor. or at least it used to be…
Funnily enough I spotted some Google Scout links the other day on the old http://www.google.com/mentalplex/MP_results.html April fools 2000 page, but they just looked the same as ‘similar results’ related: searches.
Funny how things that were once old are new again.
