  1. Since seeing this post I’ve twice been tempted to make a post on my blog about mesothelioma and then click the google ads that pop up myself.

…the evil temptation of having ads on your blog

  2. When I look for the Adwords cost of “mesothelioma” this week I was around 30$. But when I investigate a bit more on the Adwords advertisers I found a weird site name Meso-Source !?!

This site have absolutely no business case ? No sale, no lawyer ad or info and even no contact at all.

This six pages site giving only a bit of info on the disease and got no navigation on 5 of the six pages. It seem to be there only for AdSense click-thru!!!
May be is it for that kind of site Google have modify is AdSense paiement program at the beginning of the month ?

  3. Does a site always have to have a business model?
Mesothelioma is a very serious cancer and someone might just put up a site to tell others about it.
I appreciate that there are sites without a purely financial character.

  4. >I appreciate that there are sites without a purely financial character

Why putting Adsense and Adwords ads to get there and in the site without navigation ?

And what about copywriting Tony ?
All thoses examples start with a quote to ensure those 10 words queries comeback around 900 times in Google!

  5. The whole business of Adsense & Mesothelioma is one which must be left to the market. If the internet continues to reward spammers with high value clicks, it is onlt to be expected that such search terms will be targetted.
