  1. We asked Microsoft last week at Search Champs to show us the data, even if under NDA, and they informed us they couldn’t, because the Department of Justice has lcoked it as part of an ongoing investigation. We will be able to see it eventually, as far as I heard.

    This strikes me as odd. So this is data that MSFT and others had, and could have made public if they wanted, but now that the govt. asked for it, it’s somehow confidential. I don’t like the precedent.
