Last minute note – in other words, I forgot to mention – but I am doing what may be my last official book tour reading tonight on my home turf of Marin, at the Corte Madera Book Passages. 7 pm, here’s a link to it on Yahoo Maps.
Though this marks the last official book reading, what I have come to realize is that the tour really never ends. Loads of folks have come calling asking me to come and speak, and I am trying to do as much as I can. And I still get to go to London next month for the FT book award. Cool!
Awesome & congrats John… Let us know if you make it to Austin, TX sometime in the future…
Cheers,
ceo
Congrats on an excellent book mate. I am halfway through it and I can’t put it down. Being a wipper snapper and fairly new to the business, internet and marketing world (have only been pursuing it as a career for the last four years) this book gives me alot of back knowledge about the industry and how things came to be. I have been really really motivated whilst reading this book and just thought I would comment to say thanks.
Can’t wait for the next installment.
John:
Let me add my congratulations on the book. It really is great. I hope your travels are going to bring you to DC at some point soon. I’d love to help organize some book readings/events for you. Also, let me know how I can contact you about doing an interview for an e-book on Google that I am writing. I’d love to incorporate your views. Thanks!
I enjoyed reading your book but had a better laugh at Freakonomics and enjoyed the challenge that Thomas Friedman posted: energy independent in 10 years.
I still think you will win because the consequences from search for different industries are enormous.
If you have time while in London, I will buy you a beer.
