EVDB Closes Funding, Opens Doors

Brian Dear’s event-based search company, EVDB, closed its series A recently, and went live (beta) yesterday. Congrats Brian!

Also, Andy’s similar events-based site, upcoming.org, has undergone a bunch of updates.
