Literally some of the best work I’ve ever been involved with, yet again, six years in. Many of you asked for the playlist I used for the show (coverage best seen at #w2s, lots of news happened at the event, including Sergey Brin stopping by).

Here’s a screen shot of my playlist. I’ll make it live soon. (And yes, btw, the songs and their timing with sessions often mean something. But I can’t really get into what and why right now.)

  1. holy crap we listen to the same music! Very cool.

Check out Phoenix’s “girlfriend”, and “1901”. It’s perfect music to listen to while working at an internet cafe…

  2. THANKS!

i particularly remember “let the drummer kick” from last year’s Summit. the slow steady beat and groovy melancholy gets me *every time* i hear that song; i transport back to those amazing (up and down) days right after the election in 2008 and that amazing(-ly political) Summit.

    :thank you for the music:
oh and i thought the summit ROCKED this year too (even if it did catch you on mic, swearing! 🙂

  3. I remember you mentioning something about your playlist being available on MySpace Playlists at some point… having a hard time finding it. Is there a secret handshake I don’t know about?
