  1. I have long since user the metaphor of digging through a garbage can for the process of “searching the internet”, but I don’t know if taking the metaphor literally will, um, *reveal* anything worthwhile….

  2. I’d be interested to hear what he digs (diggs?) up. I think the cognitive process from live window shopping to online search is structured too differently to make a strong connection. But hey, you never know.
