The growth is back, impressive but slower than before, but it's probably quite a relief over at Twitter HQ to see no continuation of the trend from last month.
Update: As of this morning, the Compete chart does not show the growth for June yet, so here is a screen shot:

Its nice to see twitter growing rapidly - proving itself to be a valued site.
It would be interesting (but impossible, I know) to see what percentage of that growth are tweets promising me 400 new followers a day, $125. a day guaranteed, or some other "marketer" pitch that spells "unfollow" to me.
Yeah well the facts are over 60% never use twitter again after the first time so their churn rate is off the charts. secondly Twitter is an old MANS game as the people that use tweeter the most are 35 to 54 year old males. its am radio at its worst if ya got something to sell Twitter is a great promotional TOOL.
no one likes to pump up the latest fad more than John Battelle. Hey john, still waiting for that grok on Hunch.com.

I am call center excutive and on a recent tour to india i found the employees jumping on to the twitter hype wagon !
And the mobile access to twitter and its low bandwidth usage makes it better
