From Tim O'Reilly's "What Is Web 2.0":
Web 1.0 ----> Web 2.0
DoubleClick --> Google AdSense
LOL!!
nmw
Don't you realize, nmw, that the only way we are going to get to Web 3.0 is by taking the sum of Web 2.0 + Web 1.0? ;-)
That's why Google, which was supposedly a step forward with their relevance-based Web 2.0 AdSense program, as Tim O'Reilly points out, is going back and buying the "gaudy and irrelevant" Web 1.0 company DoubleClick. They can just add that 1.0 to the 2.0, and.. voila.. Web 3.0!
;-) ;-)
