Fascinating information from Technorati. I wonder how many of these blogs are making money, how much they're making on average, and what their revenue sources are.
Not all blogging is done with intent of making money, but as Dave Sifry points out, more of the top blogs are starting to resemble media operations. To publish well requires revenue.
This is really interesting to us at SubHub as we work to try to implement revenue solutions that can be utilized by bloggers and others who want to make money from content on the web. The sheer number of blogs is an encouraging indicator that there's a real market for these kinds of revenue solutions.
