If you are interested, I’ve put together a large list of services (other than Google including everal that have been around long before Google) that offer satellite and aerial imagery (some for free) to anyone who wants it. A couple are suppliers to Google and MSN.

Sure, Google Earth gets the press but people who want this imagery have been able to easily access from many other sources for a long time.
Heck, one company is even talking about offering real-time sat imagery to the public.
