Googe (check out the Urban Dictionary) is not a term for polite people. I think Google messed up and are trying to spin it as intentional.
Free buzz generated by potential screw up. Google traffic spikes to record hi. Who needs advertising when you can just be google?
I wondered about that too, but I think if anything, they added the "E". The graphic has a little "e" in the chocolate, like it was supposed to be the "gle" initially.
I think Google want to attrack world attention.
I have to say that I'm disappointed at Google's graphics for 'special days' and bank holidays etc in the last 12 months. Bring back them cool, colourful graphics.
