Will any of the .ppt presentation's be posted online? I found Mary Meeker's but I would like to have access to others including Marissa Mayer's.
I have to admit that I've always found Podcasts impressively lame (DogCast or GodCast, anyone?), but the Web 2.0 discussion is something I'm really looking forward to. No amateur talk, just professionals ready to give you the inside scoop on what's happening online. All I need now is a venti peppermint mocha.
Mike: You should check out the IT Conversations podcast network (www.itconversations.com). Lots of good talks by serious professionals, related to most things web and tech. It is great stuff.
I agree with you though, the long tail of content does suck. It is the "fat belly" that is more interesting than either the blockbuster head or the "dancing in my bedroom on YouTube" long tail. IT Conversations definitely rounds out that fat belly.
Awesome, thanks! I'm listening to the Web 2.0 Panel right now. (But someone should tell them not to use phone/web cams for their profile pics)
Thanks! I look forward to listening to this great material.
Thanks again,
Dave.
Awesome.
