  1. This brand safety snafu could have been avoided — there is good technology out there that allows publishers to filter content that doesn’t fit with an advertiser’s brand objectives. I can’t imagine VacationsToGo is happy about this placement. There are a number of providers of brand safe ad targeting, including NetSeer’s solution, that can ensure that mismatches like this don’t happen.
