First we had readers in the Dublin airport, now it’s the Munich airport, with reader Oliver Thylmann deep in the pure literary joy that is The Search (nice bubble chair, buddy).
By the way, last week you guys pushed the book to #10 on the BusinessWeek best seller list. THANK YOU!
that’s Henning Lange reading the book, Oliver probably took the picture. π
Congrats on making the bestseller list! You must be so happy to see all your hard work pay off. Us other authors are envious π
Another sign that one is getting older: someone you knew in college writes a great book and makes the best seller list. Of course if I had to college across the bay with Sergey and Larry (or Jerry and David)….. in any case – congrats and nΓ€l peeps. I look forward to you becoming a fixture on the list.
No, thank you John. It was a fantastic read … and re-read.
Thanks nico for putting that straight. The message via the mobile phone was probably a bit short π But all this blogging stuff is so efficient the correction was quick and precise π
Loved the book. If you want, I can take a picture of myself reading your book in my chair at home. But it’s not a bubble chair. And it’s in Utah, which sounds less cool when it comes to global readership domination… π
Thanks John for your insights on the nature and development of search. It’s a great read. The Google Story is still very inspiring setting up our new business.
Thanks for posting my picture.I really loved to see these awesome bubble chairs in every airport π
