Is anyone else sick of all the Google IPO stuff? Until the S-1 or Form 10 drops, I promise I will no longer post on the IPO. I’m past the point of saturation, and I sense the rest of the world is too. As my friend John Heilemann pointed out to me yesterday, it’s like the NFL draft. At the end of the day, what matters is the execution on the field. The draft is a sideshow.
Good God, Let’s Get On WIth It Already

Aren’t you culpable in promoting the media hype?
Sick of it? Yes. I was a month or two ago.
No more posts on it? Yeay!
I was starting to think you were part of the IPO hype machine, and I don’t mean just Google.
Do you think it would be possible for the millions of users that use Google daily to click on their broker’s site and ask for, let’s say, 100 shares each, and make Google worth on par with General Electric?
Or am I over-hyping the hype? But front page of NYT, cover of BusinessWeek, and thousands and thousands of other publications made it seem like the event of the millenium.

Thank you. If I read one more puff piece on Google I’m going to freak out.
