Yahoo! get to cut costs by throwing out their search department (and any other related departments), yet get a constant stream of money for doing less work.</p> <p>Hopefully Yahoo! will refocus it's efforts on making new innovative products and improving some older properties like Flickr, etc.</p> It’s really interesting to see, but makes total sense for Yahoo!.
