I agree with your choice to stick with keeping “content” stuck together (as opposed to “advertising” (which now envolops what people generally consider to be “content”).

Perhaps the reason I had suggested the other way around would have “shaken up” too many people notions — like saying that there really is no difference between “fiction” and “non-fiction” would shake up people who believe that there is… (?)

Jeremy -- I suspect that all you need is a reload to pick up all the changes.

This is what I'm seeing in Firefox 3. I have the same configuration as you (Mac, 10.4,etc.)

Thanks for the comment -- I added a couple more precautions to mitigate any stale cache issues.

A more cheeful theme would have been nice. The colors are still quite subdued and neutral.

How about a little cheer for just the summer - it does not have to be so corporate and conservative

Another idea would be to change the design theme of the blog to reflect the seasons of the year

The MS paid search thing seems very much like a gimmick and reminds me of those 'get paid to surf the internet' schemes of years back. Most people use a search engine because of it's quality results not to rack up points or whatever.
