They've been thoroughly trounded by Google. So why make him EVP? It's fashionble to blame Terry lately but the guy running search, with an iron fist, has really done nothing. He might want to take a peek over at Thomas Hawk's blog this a.m. There's a big backlash over some Flickr (aka Yahoo) heavy handedness. I've just sent a lot of the PR folks an email message about it.
