&lt;p&gt;I remember my first quarter in the Internet ad business at DoubleClick.  That was Q4 1995.  The total market was just north of $75M for that quarter.  We were a pure media rep in those days owned by and ad agency.  Our first ad network buy was $7K in April 1995.  No one had ever heard of GoTo or Google.&lt;/p&gt;
