Halsey Swivels

As reported by PaidContent, Halsey Minor, founder of Cnet and Grand Central, has recapped GC and turned it into an online advertising/campaign management company, Swivel. More here.

Google Analytics or for that matter webtrends can already do 90% of Swivel’s features – I dont think this new direction is going to help Grand Central much!

I’m curious as to which publishers would be crazy enough to trust anything that Halsey puts out there? He’s investment history with Grand Central and 12 paint a picture of a leader that serves his best interests first and foremost. I guess that is why Grand Central has to put a page up about it’s values on it’s site. Covering it up.
