A billion Dollars is a big cheque to write for a small part of that company. I’ll sell them my International trade direcory for a hell of a lot less than that… We are widely mentioned in the same sentence as Alibaba and are the largest North America based trade portal, but sure aren’t worth a few billion bucks – millions yes – but billions?
Not sure exactly what Yahoo! is after – the membership base, the brand, (not the revenue!), or just the inroads to Business in China. Maybe buttering up the new Yahoo! China Pres?
