I checked out My Google. So let me understand – Google is becoming Yahoo by creating a portal? I’m sure that’s a fight that they will win given that they have much direction, greater capital and stability as well as superior products. Is it me or has Googleplex been seriously lacking imagination recently? Not only is this a moronic move, but Yahoo is kicking Google’s behind in Google’s game PLUS the portal game. Googlers, please! Get your act together.

Wit hthe search wars the tit for tat PR table tennis is some what holding back at least the announcement of innovation – then again the bigger the ship the longer the enertia.
I sure hope not…that ANY company would think it knows exactly what web users will need in the long run is disappointing. The best we can do is run like mad to keep up…and mad computer scientists run the fastest of all…if you let them.
