yes it seems out2 is pretty stagnant. Lot's of dead stuff on there that never seemed to make it- like in the feature writers who no longer contribute, and the education section ....i thought it would grow alot faster than it did.

I agree with Jim about out2. I have been watching it for about 4 years now. I had high hopes for it, but it really has not done enough to expand and grow. It truly is still only a Palm Beach local edition. Needs to have some better marketing strategies.

US news on that page is in column 2, World news is in column 3... Click on the World News heading for only world news from there.

Sorry about the confusing UI...

I like news sites, but personally I feel a bit sad when a presumabbly US based site offers the option US/World, but when clicking on it reveals a page called 'US news'. As if outside the US you'll only find the great Nowhere. For me as someone from the other side of the pond (Netherlands, to be more specific) it's over right there...

wow, is out2 still around. It looks much like it did years ago. Right idea, but desperately in need of more active 'localized' locals.

I think this press release may be a bit self-congratulatory. Localized news, segregated by subject, has been done, in a BIG way, for quite a long time, at Out2.com...
