Very Odd. The entry hit my aggregator last night, about how the store got a makeover and was open 24 hours. They must have taken it down. Come to think of it, I couldn't find a permalink to link to, which is why I only linked to the main page. I have a cache of it in my Shrook:

Corporate schwag -- T-shirts, mugs, mousepads -- has long been a way of saying "We appreciate you" or "Please don't forget us." We're not immune from making stuff with our name on it, of course. But we do try to pick things to sell that are fun, sturdy, and usable.

We're telling you this because Google Store has had a makeover. We're not telling you to go there. But if you do, you'll have a better shopping experience (as they say) than previously, especially if you live outside the U.S. We're even open all night.

Just think, with all the poor guy invested in the lamp and the shipping, he could have instead invested in the IPO. That could make for a good piece on TheStreet sometime: "Own the lamp or own the company?"

Serves him right for buying a lamp from a search engine. ;-)
